Jeter wants to own sports franchise
New York Yankees star shortstop Derek Jeter is already thinking about his career after baseball.
Jeter said he would like to follow in the footsteps of Michael Jordan and own a sports franchise.
The shortstop said that the only interest he would have in ownership would be calling the shots.
In the final year of his contract, Jeter said that he is in no rush to retire and plans on playing as long as he possibly can.
It’s good to see that Jeter has aspirations beyond his playing days, but I wouldn’t expect them to come to fruition anytime soon.
