Sabathia still could opt out

New York Yankees pitcher C.C. Sabathia said he may still opt out of his contract after the 2011 season.

Sabathia would be looking for an even bigger payday and make it a much stronger free agent class.

Pettitte announces retirement

New York Yankees veteran pitcher Andy Pettitte has announced that he will retire instead of returning for the 2011 season.

The team failed to make any major offseason upgrades while the Boston Red Sox really improved their club. (Read More…)

Pettitte’s future still unknown

The New York Yankees are getting closer to heading to spring training, but will Andy Pettitte come with them?

The team is still awaiting word whether or not Pettitte intends to return for the 2011 baseball season.

After failing to land Cliff Lee or an impact bat in the offseason, the Yankees could really use Pettitte’s services.

The Boston Red Sox improved drastically in the offseason, and the Baltimore Orioles made some moves as well. (Read More…)
